Open concept for creative extensions and add-ons
Streacom is a master of precision-made PC cases made of high-quality, solid aluminum, but with the BC1 V2 Benchtable the manufacturer is breaking new ground. With Hwbot and OverClocking-TV , Streacom has succeeded in gathering well-known figures from the international overclocking community behind it. As part of the "Open Benchtable Project", Streacom has created another cleverly designed, transportable and open benchmark table.
The word 'open' applies in two respects, because the Streacom BC1 V2 not only lets the hardware work in the fresh air, but also enables third-party providers and 3D printing hobbyists to develop and approve official accessories and extensions for the benchtable Selling. The highlight of the BC1: The bench table can be dismantled at any time like a camping table and thus placed in a flat transport position. This makes it child's play to quickly and easily set up and dismantle a complete test platform, even vertically - an overclocker's dream!
Compact dimensions and extremely low weight for maximum mobility
The BC1 V2 is also the perfect accessory for overclockers, enthusiasts and specialists who need a bench table that is easy to transport when travelling, thanks to Streacom's typical choice of light aluminum as the base plate material. The resulting weight of just 1.75 kilograms speaks for itself. The design for mobile applications is also made clear by the practical carrying handle, which allows the benchtable to be transported like a suitcase.
The manageable dimensions of 27 centimeters by 36 centimeters with a height of 11 centimeters when assembled and a height of just 8 millimeters when transported do the rest. However, the lightweight is also relatively filigree and therefore subject to various weight restrictions. Power packs may weigh a maximum of 10 kilograms and radiators a maximum of 7 kilograms per mount, while the permissible total weight of all installed components is 25 kilograms.
High versatility with diverse hardware support
With support for E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX and even Mini-ATX motherboards, the table's owner has a veritable potpourri of possible motherboard formats to choose from. The spacers are simply plugged into the platform without threads, which leads to longevity with frequently changing components. The possibilities for the other hardware are completely limitless, since there is no length limit for either the CPU cooler or the graphics card(s). Only the number of PCI brackets supplied limits the number of graphics or expansion cards that can be mounted to four. ATX power supply now has a length limit of 320mm. However, SFX/SFX-L format power supplies are now supported.
Two 140/120 millimeter fans can be attached to sliding brackets on the right and left side, which can alternatively also give way to radiators up to 360 millimeters. The stands, which are also stowed in the base plate alongside knurled screws, spacers and brackets, have large, rubberized feet that ensure a secure hold on common surfaces. When assembled, the power supply unit is simply placed under the bench table and can be attached to the base plate in the desired orientation. Two 2.5" or 3.5" hard drives or SSDs can be discreetly accommodated on the underside opposite the PSU.
Tool-free assembly for the best convenience
Thanks to thumbscrews and push-pin spacers for the motherboard, all components can be easily installed with bare hands without the need for any tools, so a screwdriver is not necessary. For optimal stability, all screws, spacers and brackets are made of sturdy steel. All protruding parts can be stowed firmly in the aluminum plate for transport, making it extremely easy to move the entire benchtable to another location.
