The external USB soundcard Xonar U7 MK2 was reworked by Asus mainly with regard to Windows 10 compatibility. It offers connection possibilities for 5.1 and 7.1 surround systems and can process audio signals with up to 192 kHz / 24 bits.

An integrated headphone amplifier allows the operation of hi-fi headphones, while the noise margin of 114 dB ensures crystal-clear sound without noise. The device is therefore suitable for gamers, as well as for music enthusiasts and home theater fans who want to upgrade their PC or laptop adequately.

With the high-quality DACs from Cirrus Logic, audio signals can be output and recorded in convincing quality. The analog connection repertoire includes mini-jack inputs and outputs as well as stereo RCA connections. By means of coaxial S / PDIF digital output, the sound card can also be connected to the AV receiver of an existing surround system.
