EK-Loop DDC 4.1 PWM Motor is a custom loop water pump with power management control (via PWM - pulse width modulation) of rotation speed through motherboard BIOS or a dedicated fan controller. This is a low-power version of the full DDC pump carrying both power and PWM control through the fan 4-pin header. It features the exact same physical characteristics on the outside as the EK-Loop DDC 4.2 PWM Motor, which is the high-power version.
This pump is compatible with any EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE DDC and FLT DDC pump-res combo units. Using an optional Convection heatsink can even further prolong the lifespan of the pump.
Despite a remarkably small footprint of 2.4" square, EK-Loop DDC 4.1 PWM features a respectable 2,6m of head pressure. This is more than adequate for usual loops that feature one or two water blocks and no QDCs or other flow-restricting components. This pump is also a high-reliability, high-pressure industrial pump featuring a 50,000-hour MTBF (5-year lifetime) and using only 6W of power.
It's compact, quiet, energy-efficient, and quite capable while not requiring additional power connectors.

PLEASE NOTE:
- DDC pumps are wet tested before shipping. While they are dried out before packaging, it can occasionally happen that the pump is delivered still slightly wet.
- This product should NOT be installed with any aluminum Fluid Gaming parts!
- If no PWM signal is present, the DDC pump runs at 100% RPM.
- The DDC pump is water lubricated, and it must not be run dry; otherwise, permanent bearing damage can occur.
